Description Mode — Guess the Card from Its Description

Guess the card from its description alone. No attribute tiles here — just the words. One clue unlocks after five guesses.

It's a different kind of recall from Classic: attribute comparison won't help you, so it rewards players who actually read card text rather than memorising elixir costs. The card changes daily, and your progress is saved if you close the tab.

Which card is...

“A spell that turns any moment into a problem.”

How to play

The puzzle is the prose. Read it twice.

  1. Read the description closely
Every word is doing work. “Group” or “swarm” points at a multi-unit card. “Charges” suggests something with a dash. Numbers are the biggest gift: “three” usually means literally three.
  2. Five guesses, then a clue
There are no attribute tiles in this mode — a wrong guess only tells you it was wrong. After five guesses the elixir button unlocks one written clue. One clue, not a series.
  3. Keep going until you land it
No fail state and no guess limit. Your score is how many guesses it took. Progress survives closing the tab, and a new description arrives at local midnight.
